Islamabad: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf announced protest against the Form 47 Government of Pakistan on 24th November 2024. The Federal Government and establishment are afraid of this protest and unable to stop them. Therefore, the government decided to suspend Internet and mobile services in Pakistan.
Therefore, the federal government has decided to shut down Internet services in Islamabad, Khyber Pakhtoon Kha, and Punjab. But the Federal Government is saying the technical upgrade is under process.
According to bol news sources, Internet and mobile services in Pakistan remained suspended from 22 November to 26 November in Islamabad, Khyber Pakhtoon Kha, and different cities of the Punjab.
According to the Pakistan Telecom Communication Authority (PTA), the firewall has been activated, so social media users in Pakistan cannot download videos and audio. A source also said that to handle the protest situation, the PTA might suspend Internet and mobile service in specific areas of the country.
However, on the other hand, PTI leadership says that the arrangements for the protest are almost complete, and this time, the protest will not end until all demands are fulfilled.
