The Government of Punjab has announced winter vacations for all government and private schools across the Punjab. According to the notification by the Punjab School Education Department, winter vacations have officially been announced from 17th December 2024 to 10th January 2025. It is also stated that restrictions regarding the use of face masks in schools remain the same as already mentioned.
This directive has been sent to all Deputy Commissioners, Chief Executive Officers of District Education Authorities, and Heads of concerned departments to ensure compliance. In this regard, the DG Public Relations Punjab has instructed to publish this news in newspapers, social media, and media channels, as well as upload this notification on the official website of the Punjab Government.
This notification aims to help schools and families during the winter season to protect health from different winter diseases. On the other hand, the Sindh government has also announced summer vacations from 21st December to 31st December 2024.
