Brooklyn Beckham and Nicola Peltz Beckham have successfully resolved the contentious disputes that had marred their wedding preparations. After enduring a series of legal battles stemming from their Palm Beach wedding in April 2022, all involved parties have come together to release a joint statement, formally marking the end of their legal wrangling.
This inclusive resolution includes Nicola’s father, Nelson Peltz, and the wedding planners, Nicole Braghin and Arianna Grijalba of Plan Design Events.
In a joint statement, the parties declare, “Both parties believe that the contractual disagreements between Nelson Peltz and Plan Design should be resolved according to the initially agreed-upon terms.
As part of this amicable settlement, PDE has committed to making a charitable donation to the CARE Ukraine Crisis Fund in the names of Nicola and Brooklyn. PDE conveys its heartfelt wishes for enduring happiness and a prosperous life together to Nicola and Brooklyn Peltz Beckham.”
The legal predicament first emerged in December of the preceding year when Nicola’s father initiated legal action against the wedding planners hired by the couple.
The complaint revealed that Braghin and Grijalba, who had been retained just six weeks before the wedding, were terminated after nine days, with Nelson asserting that he had yet to receive his $159,000 deposit refund.
Nelson’s legal representatives contended, “The high-profile nature of the wedding, coupled with the anticipated attendance of numerous distinguished guests, necessitated that the wedding planner possess the requisite expertise and staffing to meticulously plan, coordinate, and execute an event of the anticipated caliber and complexity.”
In response, Braghin and Grijalba filed a counterclaim against the billionaire, alleging a breach of contract. According to documents obtained from reliable sources, the wedding planners asserted that both Nicola and her mother, Claudia, were intent on shielding Brooklyn’s family, which included David Beckham and Victoria Beckham, from any challenges encountered during the planning process.
They maintained that while the Beckham family’s guest list was well-organized, the Peltz side made frequent alterations, creating difficulties in their coordination efforts.
The complaint underscored, “Both Claudia and Nicola were adamant that Victoria Beckham (Brooklyn’s mother) remain unaware of any internal planning hiccups, including any guest list discrepancies, about her son’s wedding.”
