Islamabad: President Dr. Arif Alvi has urged the young to use technological advancements and offer their skills abroad to boost Pakistan’s technology exports.
“Our nation has a youth bulge, and that young bulge has to be intellectually connected to the rest of the globe. In a video speech at the Institute of Cost and Management Accountants (ICMA) Digital Academy’s virtual inauguration, President Alvi warned that our nation will miss a significant opportunity if it is not completed.
In collaboration with The FinTech Group (TFG), a company located in London, ICMA established the Digital Academy. The UK-based ICMA Digital Academy was founded to equip Pakistan’s future workforce with digital skills in high demand worldwide.

The President emphasized the significance of the ICMA Digital Academy’s intentions to support the nation’s large young population in offering their skills internationally. He emphasized to the audience how eager young individuals are to acquire new technology and engage in professional, worldwide customer interactions.
In terms of the new employment of the future and the ways many of these services will be provided, he explained the strategic change taking place all around us. The President highlighted the growing acceptance of remote work in many future occupations, saying that this gives Pakistan’s brilliant young people a fantastic opportunity to communicate digitally with their clients without regard to location.
He emphasized the necessity for Pakistan to board the train of change more quickly and the speed at which change occurs worldwide. He commended ICMA for launching the ICMA Digital Academy at the appropriate moment in this setting.
According to President Alvi, ICMA has been actively training management accounting specialists to meet the nation’s demands for a very long period. But in the future, it will be feasible for accountants to go far beyond Pakistan and meet consumers’ demands internationally, boosting the nation’s digital exports and economic development.
