After Sri Lanka ODIs, Tri-Nation Series Revised

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) too has changed the itinerary for the tri-nation series, with the hosts, Sri Lanka and Zimbabwe. As per the reports, while the triangular series was earlier slated to begin from November 17, now it has been scheduled to kick off on November 18.

The PCB has changed the venues of all the matches at Pindi Cricket Stadium. The matches were also set to take place at the Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore.

And the Zimbabwe national cricketers have also arrived in Pakistan for the upcoming tri-nation series scheduled from November 18. As per the information, Zimbabwe players arrived in Islamabad on early Thursday. Sri Lanka followed, with Zimbabwe having state guest status.

“It may be mentioned here that following an acceptance by Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) to visit Pakistan, the PCB has revamped the original itinerary by swapping two ODIs (scheduled in Lahore),” said a press release issued here.

The 2nd ODI between Pakistan and Sri Lanka will be played at the Pindi Cricket Stadium tomorrow (November 14). The third and last game between the two teams will be played on November 16.
