The University of Peshawar has issued a notice for winter vacations, providing its students and staff with the much-needed respite during chilly days. It was mentioned that academic evaluations would continue as scheduled.
The University of Peshawar (UoP) will remain closed from Dec 22. The notice is to all faculties and administrative units of the university.
The university said the decision was made based on the seasonal timing.
The University of Peshawar will be closed during the winter holidays, according to a notification issued on Friday. Regular education operations and classes will also resume on 3rd January, 2026. During the closure, students and staff have been told to prepare for the next steps accordingly.
Exams and tests schedule
Regardless of the holiday season, university officials have stated that no changes will be made to the exam and testing schedule. All Examinations and Assessments already announced will proceed as scheduled.
Students have been advised to remain prepared and to monitor official university channels for further advice.
